Mike | Sonja

So Sonja was a college roommate of my wife Kylie and as they’ve stayed in touch over the years Sonja has gotten to watch my photography take off. Before she even got engaged she sent me an email that I would be hearing from her soon! I was stoked that she asked me to be a part of their awesomely unique story.

They have known each other since high school but never really got connected until Mike got a random email reminder that it was her Birthday. They went out for pizza, for some reason they both love black olive and peperoni pizza! I wont spoil the whole story because their wedding in June will give you some more fun details of their awesome adventure!

Basically I love their energy and can’t wait to share more. Enjoy some balloons that did not mysteriously escape from the car half way through the shoot and some genuinely good lookin people!

Happy Tuesday!

Emily | Duluth, MN

I’ve know Emily for quite awhile. Actually probably her whole life! She is the sister the the best man at my wedding. We really wanted something unique and different for her Sr. Pics so we woke up early, about 3am to be exact, and headed up to Duluth to catch these early morning shots. She’s starting to look into modeling so these are a taste of the energy that she brings to photographs. It was so much fun to shoot with her, kylie, and kyle. And I’m pretty stoked on the results!

I hope you enjoy,

Noah|Amy

Noah and Amy are one of the more passionate couples I’ve met. You can tell they are in love with each other! The Gibbs Farm in St. Paul was the perfect place for their vintage rustic feeling wedding and their casual wedding. Noah wore sandals and Amy had a sweet old school dress. All their friends made the night so much better, rocking the dance floor for 3 hours! Congrats to Amy and Noah and I’m so stoked on the new friendship that I’ve formed with the both of  you.

Derek|Leslie

First off Derek and Leslie are an amazing couple. I’ve been able to get to know them over the past year and have truly enjoyed every second.

I was already really looking forward to shooting their wedding but when Derek left me a voicemail saying he had a surprise for Leslie I got a little more excited. I don’t know how in the world he arranged it but he had a helicopter pick us up from the ceremony site and bring us to the International Market Square downtown Minneapolis. Leslie has a bit of a fobia of flying but she was such a trooper. I can’t wait to get them back their photos. Everyone there was amazing, including the wedding party. Such a great time and I look forward to growing the awesome friendship that I have with these two!

Thanks to everyone that helped make the day awesome including my awesome assistant Jess!

George | Liz

So this is my first shoot in Denver now that I’ve moved out here and it was amazing! I work with George and it was awesome getting to know George and Liz as a couple. George has a few hundred nicknames for Liz and it seemed like George would be a little more forgetful without Liz around! It’s fun when a couple truly enjoys each other! It was a blast spending an evening with the two of them and this is just the warm up for their wedding at Evergreen Lake in the Mountains in September. I’m so excited to get to be there with them on their wedding!
